Le Blanc Resorts in Cabo and Cancun Mexico
I have stayed at 5-star resorts all the way from Barcelona to Fiji. I have also toured over 200 resorts in my career, so when I call a resort luxury - I have a lot of hotels to compare it to. I always like to use Marriott Chains when I describe a resort category because overall, none of them I have ever stayed in are bad. I will stay in all categories but it depends on the location and the occasion as to why I choose the brand.
My experience with Palace Resorts was not only with the amazing people that partner with us but, I had also been several times to the Moon Palace Resort in Jamaica and the Moon Palace in Cancun. You can think of these resorts as Marriotts because they have great amenities, good rooms, great staff and are large properties.
When I had the opportunity to look more into the Palace brands, I knew I wanted to see Le Blanc. While on our trip to Cancun in July, we got the opportunity to spend the last night at the Le Blanc Cancun.
From the refreshing spa smell of relaxation that hits you when you walk in, to the bellman escorting you over to your individual check in - you know it is going to be a good experience. But the good slowly starts to turn into a wow experience.
The check-in is preceded by a welcome drink and a neck warmer to get you suited into the experience. The check-in goes seamless and they let us know our butler’s name and he will be arriving shortly to escort us to our room. Before the check-in clerk leaves us, he hands me a flower and then our butler sets us on our journey of the resort.
Now we had not been to the resort yet, so he guided us on a short tour of the property to show us where our dining options would be and the locations of the pools and spa we had requested to see. He then showed us to our room.
Our butler did not stop at the room, he then proceeded to inform us all about the room. He asked if we wanted the mini bar customized to our liking. He also showed us the wonderful snacks that they leave for you. He showed us the menu on the tv, where we could order special pillows like lavender mint and the bath salt and custom hand soap menu. He asked if we wanted any of those items and if I wanted a bath drawn at anytime that he would come in to do so.
He did everything for us, even asked us if we needed help unpacking! We ordered breakfast for room service to be delivered at a precise time the next morning and our food right on time. I have had other butler service categories at other hotels and they are nice but there was something about the service level and the way we were treated that felt more natural than forced. I even made the comment that maybe we got lucky and got a great butler. Yet, when we went to the Le Blanc in Cabo for a night in August - they acted the same exact way!
And Le Blanc’s spa - what an experience. They dedicate an entire floor to their spa in their hotels and the hydrotherapy circuit is included. Definitely in my top 5 spas for Mexico for sure and I am a spa junkie when it comes to resorts. You will find one of the best hydrotherapy sessions here and you are catered to by your own attendant the entire time!
Now for the food. Food is always a factor when it comes to an all-inclusive resort. I love great food and great wine. I appreciated their extensive wine list. It is an additional charge. I am ok with splurging for a night on a good bottle.
From the dine-in to the room service, the food is AH-MA-ZING. I never had anything I didn’t want to eat - even at the Lebanese restaurant!
I can continue to go on and on about this resort - but just call me and I will tell you all you need to know and book your stay here! It does not cost you extra to book your room with me and they love guests that are booked by travel agents!
