Royalton Chic Suites Cancun Resort and Spa

Royalton Chic is an adult-only, all-inclusive resort in the Hotel Zone in Cancun, Mexico. Here is a recap of one of our agent’s stay here and her experience in the Diamond Club:

We booked Diamond Club Ocean Front so most of this is based on DC experience.

Royalton Chic sees a variety of ages but mostly younger 30’s - 40’s but still lots in our age range which is 50’s.

With our DC status, check-in was smooth and quick.

Full Butler service is only offered for presidential suite guests but you do have a virtual butler through What’s App and they are very responsive.

Dinner reservations are not needed but DC guests can make them for their entire stay.

I had communicated with DC manager prior to stay and he said he would set my reservations up but did not, so we at NTA will make sure that they are reconfirmed when we book your stay.

We were able to get reservations at restaurants but we booked as soon as we arrived on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. and got steakhouse on Friday. Last and only reservation was 9:00 p.m.. So, having your travel agent make reservations ahead of time is a plus.

Other guest can make reservations by the day or they can show up and wait.

The Mexican restaurant did not have availability but we went there at 7 p.m. and were seated immediately. Best Mexican food I’ve had at any resort. It was more Texmex and living in Houston - we love our Texmex.

Jade (Asian) was good. Not the best I’ve had but still really good. Food presentation has been good too.

Grazies Italian was really good for lunch and dinner.

DC grill by pool at lunch was amazing. We had dishes such as steak and shrimp and chicken and tuna. Mouth watering!

Dips had hamburgers and fries, chicken strips, chips and guacamole. Great food option for grab and go!

There is also a pizza window as well as sit down service at Grazies for lunch.

The buffet is great and so many options for breakfast.

No QR menus. Menus written on chalkboards - so no need to have your phone with you to pull up a menu.

As far as the room, the mini bar can only be refilled when you are in room and you need to request what you want. No alcohol in there and cannot be requested unless presidential suite.

No bottled water and no canned beers - only on tap.

No Crown Royal at all bars but Mike did find it at 1 bar today.

DC has private section on beach and pool. No problem getting chairs at 10:00 am for 2 days.

Diamond Club at Level 18 which is the rooftop bar and club - Non premium alcohol at Level 18 is included with DC but no food. Cabanas are free if you purchase a bottle. Prices are in pic.

Hydrotherapy is included with DC.
