The facility:

Punta Sam is a small community, sitting 8 miles northeast of downtown Cancun, Mexico (the tourists can also catch a ferry from this spot to the Isla Mujeres). The moment you enter this luxe resort, you will be welcomed into an innovative environment beaded with harmony, comfort, vibrant color schemes, alluring decor, and an infamous Playa Mujeres natural landscape that will surely mesmerize you. Atelier Mujeres is couched between a majestic golf course and crystalline blue Caribbean waters. Thus, it won't be wrong to say that Atelier Playa Mujeres is a masterpiece conceived and built by Mexican experts. This place is all about treating guests with luxury, relaxation, and comfort by putting forward the mix of art, nature, and other all-inclusive experiences that one will surely never forget.
Accommodations:
Enough said about the ambiance, let's review the resorts' suites. Atelier Playa Mujeres houses 431 suites and categorizes them as 'suites' and 'inspira suites.' All of the suites have been accentuated with wood and marble accents, modern furnishings (mostly avant-garde), warmly toned color schemes, and the breathtaking Caribbean Sea and golf course views. Gym:
Why compromise your gym sessions while on getaways? Stay on track while being at Atelier as here you will find one of the better-equipped gyms you will ever locate on any all-inclusive resort. From treadmills to stationary bicycles to ellipticals to decline bench press to the indoor rower, you will find inside every single piece of equipment that you can think of and name.
The Main Pool:
It is the most-raved about amenity at the Atelier. The main pool has been constructed in an L-shape and accentuated with swim-up bars at every end. You might not want to dive into the pool in the afternoons because it usually gets more crowded during this time. It is best to head there for the first time in the morning or you can stand there under the shade of the overhead bridge, chatter, drink, and enjoy yourself out of the sun. You will also find dozens of complimentary poolside Bali beds (Bingo). However, we experienced an unfair but common practice- tourists getting up early, placing a personal item and towel on the bed, going back to sleep, and claiming the bed later - disgusting and annoying but yes it happens and you can't do anything about it. There is also a huge Jacuzzi near the Main Pool where the jets are strong but the water is not heated.
If you decide to head towards the beach after a dive in the swimming pool during the daytime, we will recommend you to not take the wooden walkway as it gets burning hot then - and you can end up hurting your feet. At least wear some shoes while taking this route.
The Beach:
The beach on which Atelier stands is panoramic and perfect by all means - soft white sand, clear blue waters, and a calming breeze. You will be happy once you get there. To one's utmost relief, you will find many Bali beds here too. If you upgrade to Inspira, you will get access to a separate section on the south end of the beach featuring a private beach concierge. However, all of the beach guests, no matter the package, can find hammocks in the back of the beach. The best thing about the hammocks is that these beds are not only free to occupy but the guests are also served complimentary drinks. Two swings in the water also serve the view which is primarily used for photo ops (you can surely get some good pictures to bless your Insta wall).
